Art Around Every Corner
While located on Chicago’s Cultural Mile, 1000M is an art gallery in and of itself. On display throughout the building is art on loan from the permanent collection of Francis Greenburger, which includes more than 1500 pieces from over 700 artists ranging from icons of the early Modern period to emerging contemporary figures.
In addition, a dedicated art gallery on the 10th floor is open for everyday viewing.

The 73rd floor offers spectacular spaces that distinguish 1000M from any other building in Chicago. Here, you’ll find the Observation Deck—higher than any other residence in the city—Wintergarden, and two private dining rooms. Another distinctive feature, these 73rd-floor sensations are accessible and available to all 1000M residents, not only those living on the uppermost floors.

Outdoor living is a vital part of residential life at 1000M. The stunning resort-style outdoor space on the 8th floor includes everything from al fresco dining and grilling areas, gardens for relaxing or lawn games, and a large outdoor pool and sundeck with cabanas and sundeck loungers, connected directly to the indoor pool and whirlpool. The Zen Garden on the 10th floor features additional grilling and dining spaces, a tranquil lawn for relaxing, and a private dining and grilling area with firepits for an “elevated” experience.

The outdoor heated pool is designed for 3-season use with a state-of-the-art heated deck enabling residents to enjoy outdoor swimming well into Chicago’s colder months. The indoor facilities feature a year-round lap pool and hot tub, with adjacent men’s and women’s changing rooms.

The private 1000M health club includes over 10,000 square feet of premium offerings, including basketball, boxing, private personal training rooms, a full suite of the latest high-tech equipment for a variety of work-out preferences, virtual training, yoga, massage/treatment rooms, regularly scheduled classes, as well as access to personal trainers. Plus, there is an indoor lap pool for year-round swimming and a whirlpool for relaxation. Many of the training rooms have stunning views of the park through floor-to-ceiling windows as well.
